Staff Biographies:
Mrs. Granberg: Pre-School - Third Grade & Music Teacher -- mrs.granberg@cornerstonecs.org
Mrs Granberg was our Music, PE, & Computer teacher
last year, and is now one of our Pre-3 teachers and our Music teacher. She has been in the public schools working in
the special ed. departments. This is her 4th year at CCS. Mrs. Granberg's degree is in K-8
Education from Harding University. Mrs. Granberg has been instrumental in getting our students involved in music
from other cultures, learning to play recorders, and working on their singing and drama skills. Mrs.
Granberg has two children, not yet old enough to come to Cornerstone.
Mrs. Bittner: 3- and 4- Year-Old Pre-School & PM Kindergarten -- mrs.bittner@cornerstonecs.org
Mrs. Bittner has 21 years
experience in Christian education working with preschoolers through 6th graders. This year she is
teaching our 3-year old preschool, 4-year-old preschool, and afternoon kindergarten classes.
Previously, she has taught elementary Math & Language Arts, Music, and PE at CCS. Mrs. Bittner
loves having her grandaughter come to Cornerstone as a preschooler.
Mrs. Nuttbrock: 4-Year-Old Preschool -- mrs.nuttbrock@cornerstonecs.org
This is Mrs. Nuttbrock's 8th year at Cornerstone, and she
taught 2nd and kindergarten for five years before she came to us. She earned her elementary
education degree at Greenville College in Illinois. Mrs. Nuttbrock has 2 grandchildren at Cornerstone.
Mrs. O'Conner: AM Kindergarten -- mrs.oconner@cornerstonecs.org
Mrs. O'Connor was one of the original staff members of Cornerstone
Christian School, and she has been involved in Christian education for 18 years. Mrs. O'Connor is a pioneer and leader
in our Riggs phonics program, which is used to teach reading to
our students from preschool up through 2nd grade.
Mrs. Rehman: First Grade -- mrs.rehman@cornerstonecs.org
Mrs. Rehman has been teaching in Christian schools for 21
years. During this time she has taught almost every age group from kindergarten to high school.
She currently teaches our 1st grade. Mrs. Rehman is also in charge of our
Celebration of Young Authors that happens in May of each year, in which our students work to write
their very own book! Mrs. Rehman has 3 grandchildren in three grade levels at Cornerstone.
Mrs. Kephart: 2nd & 3rd Grades -- mrs.kephart@cornerstonecs.org
Mrs. Kephart has been with Cornerstone for many
years and has 11 years of teaching experience. She has been a volunteer Librarian for
Cornerstone, and has taught Language for Cornerstone in past years. God has arranged it this year
so she can teach our 2nd & 3rd combined grades. Mrs. Kephart has her Masters of Education from OSU
in elementary education. Mrs. Kephart has a son at Cornerstone in 1st grade.
Mrs. Franklin: Librarian & Art Teacher -- mrs.franklin@cornerstonecs.org
Mrs. Franklin is our wonderful Librarian. She has a wonderful passion for
books and makes reading and learning about books fun for all our students. She is very creative
and artistic and the children learn quickly that at Cornerstone, much fun and learning happens in the
Library! Mrs. Franklin has had children at Cornerstone for six years and still has a 1st grader here. She is also teaching
wonderful Art classes to our elementary grades!
Mrs. Bauldree: PE & Computer Teacher -- mrs.bauldree@cornerstonecs.org
This is Mrs. Bauldree's first year teaching PE. She has been coaching in Christian school
since 1999, starting at the middle school level doing both girls and boys
basketball. After a few years at Willamette Christian School she went on to
coach boys JV basketball, then the last 4 years with the girls program at Western Mennonite.
Mrs. Bauldree has also had two seasons of coaching middle school volleyball. It is exciting for her to watch the
students at Conerstone achieving things that they did not realize they had
within them to do as they explore different sports, both individual and team.
Mrs. Pfaff: Office Manager -- ccs@cornerstonecs.org
Mrs. Pfaff is our Office Manager. She has been a CCS parent for four
years and has been around CCS for a few more years than that. She was our Parent Volunteer
Coordinator for a couple years and helped our former Principal in the office, too. Mrs. Pfaff has a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Sociology from Colorado College and has worked as a
social worker for the elderly and as a Career Counselor for high school students, among other
things. Mrs. Pfaff has a daughter in 3rd grade at Cornerstone.
Mrs. Sheri Pfaff: Finance Manager --
Mrs. Pfaff is our Finance Manager. She comes in 1-2 days/week. Any
questions about bills or finance matters for CCS can be directed to Melanie Pfaff in the office and Sheri will contact
parents as needed.
