David Smith, Head of School Cornerstone Community SchoolCCS Head of School

Dr. David Smith is the Head of School at Cornerstone Community School. He has been serving students, staff, and teachers at CCS since 2014. Before this position, Dr. Smith taught for 12 years at other Christian elementary schools in Northeast Ohio.

He has earned his PhD from Columbia International University (South Carolina) in Organizational Leadership. He has a master's degree from Fort Hays State University in education administration, and a bachelor’s degree in history from Grove City College.

Dr. Smith enjoys going for hikes with his family, traveling, smoking meats, and watching sports. He loves the Browns, Indians, Cavs, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He attends Riverwood Chapel with his wife, Beth, and children, Ben, Kaylee, and Justin.
