Association & School Board

Cornerstone Community School is directed by a voluntary Association and an elected School Board.

The CCS Association

Members of the Association are those who have a child enrolled in the school and/or have paid Association dues and are in agreement with the Foundation and Purpose of the school. All members are expected to attend two stated meetings each year and participate in the organization’s activities on behalf of the school.

School Board

The CCS Board of Trustees, comprised of parents and other community leaders, is the primary governing body of the school. Members are elected by the CCS Board and nominated by CCS stakeholders. The Board appoints its own officers and is responsible for establishing policies, governing finances, offering staff contracts, and monitoring the overall direction of the school. Complete information is outlined in the CCS Constitution and By-Laws.
